Sampling and Sailing Lake Michigan

Jaclyn Johnston, fellow adventurer, and producer and cofounder of Ship-to-Shore Productions, sailed along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan this summer, more than 300 miles from Mackinac Island to Chicago. During that journey, she collected water samples to help our team at Adventurers and Scientists for Conservation as we work toward compiling the world’s largest microplastics dataset. This short film chronicles her experience as an adventure scientist on the beautiful waters of the Great Lakes.
